TZ Studios Portraits Experience

Step 1 – The Planning Consultation

Great photography comes from a great relationship, and this starts with a meeting to allow us to find out more about you, why do you want your portrait sessions with us, what you hope to achieve from the experience, and what is important to you.

From here, we can plan for the creative session that follows, where and when, any special clothing, theme etc.

This step is all about planning carefully so we can truly celebrate you and your loved ones, and create meaningful and personalised heirlooms that accurately capture and freeze a moment in time for you to cherish forever.

Step 2 – The Creative Session – $200

This is where the magic happens! Our creative session usually lasts 45-60 minutes, except for newborn shoots where we follow the baby’s natural rhythm.

Whether we work in our studio or travel to your home, farm, or favorite outdoor spot, our goal is always the same—creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere. This helps you feel comfortable and engaged in the creative process.

After the session, we carefully curate and touch up your images to prepare them for your first viewing. Although we don’t fully edit them at this stage, we ensure they receive the attention they deserve to make your initial reveal a memorable experience.

Step 3 – The Reveal and Design

Once your images are ready, we invite you to an exciting reveal session where you’ll see your portraits for the first time. It’s common for emotions to flow—happy tears included!

We’ll guide you through selecting your favorite images and designing a collection that fits your preferences and budget. We encourage all key decision-makers to attend this session to ensure a smooth process without delays.

There’s no pressure to buy. Our goal is for you to genuinely love your artwork, and we’re here to support you through every step. We also offer a unique software tool to help visualize how your chosen portraits will look in your home. We recommend allowing 1-2 hours for the selection and design process.

Our product options include exquisite Loose Prints, Matted Prints presented in a collector’s box, ready-to-hang Wall Art pieces, and elegant family heirloom Album Collections.

Wall Art starts at $550, Keepsake Boxes at $1700, and Album Collections begin at $2900.

Typically, our clients invest between $1000 and $5000.

Step 4 – The Collection

After placing your order, it typically takes 4-8 weeks for your custom artwork to be completed. This is when all the planning and effort come together, and you’ll see why we are so passionate about printed artwork. The tangible beauty of physical pieces far surpasses digital images, creating a legacy for you to cherish for years to come.
