We are Binh and Lin. We run T3 Portraits together out of a studio in Epping, and we are parents of three.
Thousands of photos. Nothing on the wall.
Every family we meet is carrying an enormous archive. And then you walk into the hallway and there is nothing. So we built the studio backwards from the finish: a framed portrait, on a wall, in a room you use every day.

A photograph you cannot see is not a photograph
A file is a promise to look at something later. A print is the thing itself.
The mother belongs in the frame
She is missing from almost every family archive we are shown.
Children do not have to behave
Some of the best frames come from a child mid-refusal.
Nobody should be rushed
The session is built long enough to absorb a meltdown or two.
You should never be guessing about money
The session fee is $395. No minimum spend, ever.
“I hate having my photo taken” is a brief, not a problem
It tells us to direct more, and never say “just be natural”.

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, one family in at a time. We also shoot on location across Sydney: the Northern Beaches, the Inner West, the Sutherland Shire, the Hills, Ryde, Hornsby, Eastwood and the North Shore.
