Everything you were going to ask by email.

Whether you have to buy prints, what we do when your three-year-old refuses, and why the artwork is chosen after the session rather than before it.

Thirty-one answers. Six of the most common, here.

How far ahead do we need to book?

Sessions currently book four to six weeks ahead. Newborns reserve by due-date month and are scheduled once the baby arrives; get in touch around 28–34 weeks.

What are your studio hours?

Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, by appointment only. There is no drop-in and no walk-in viewing — we only have one family in the studio at a time.

Do we have to buy prints?

No. The session fee stands alone and covers the photography and design consultation. Artwork is chosen afterwards, with no obligation, once you have seen it at size.

What if we are genuinely not photogenic?

That is most people, and it is our job to direct you through it — constant, low-key instruction the whole way. Nobody is expected to perform or produce a natural smile on demand.

What does a session cost?

The session fee is $395. Mini Love is a fixed $150. The Wall Collection starts from $3,200 and the Heirloom album from $1,250. Most families invest $1,800–$4,500 all in.

Where is the studio?

Epping, Sydney NSW, by appointment. We also shoot on location across the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, the Hills, Ryde, Hornsby, Eastwood and the North Shore.
